What we collect
- Vehicle details you enter, such as the registration number, fuel type, CO₂ emissions and first registration date.
- Your name, email address and (optionally) telephone number when you ask us to save or send an estimate.
- Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We only receive a payment reference and confirmation.
- Basic technical data such as your browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working.
Why we use it
- To produce your estimate and the PDF summary you asked for.
- To take payment and manage your subscription.
- To send you confirmations and service messages about your enquiry.
- To improve and secure our website.
Legal basis
- We rely on performance of a contract for payments and service delivery, your consent for marketing messages, and our legitimate interests for site security and improvement.
Sharing
- We share data with Stripe (payments) and our hosting and database providers, who process it on our instructions.
- We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry and payment records are kept for up to six years to meet accounting and legal obligations. Estimate PDFs are removed sooner where they are no longer needed.
Your rights
- You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month.
- If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
- We use only essential cookies needed to run the site and complete payments. We do not use advertising cookies.
